Big Trouble for Big Ben

Over the weekend, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a late night club in Georgia. This was the second time in the past year that Roethlisberger was accused of a crime relating to sexual assault. The court meeting is scheduled for later this week and if found guilty, the Steelers said that they most likely will cut the two time Super Bowl champ quarterback.

Its well known to most that Ben Roethlisberger and head coach Mike Tomlin havent always gotten along the best since Tomlin took over in 2007. Tomlin has made comments about how Roethlisberger messes up the offense because he holds onto the ball to long and takes to many sacks. He has also said that if Roethlisberger does get let go, the Steelers already have their quarterback in place. Dennis Dixon. I think this is absolutely absurd. Ben Roethlisberger has been a phenom ever since he came into the NFL and the face of the Steelers franchise for 5 years. He has won two superbowls and has not yet been found guilty of any of these accusations made against him. I think if the Steelers let him go that it would be a terrible mistake on their part and would take multiple years to replace because everyone knows you need a good, experienced quarterback and thats what Big Ben brings to the table.
